I'm a little behind on the times, so the new guy took me to Target to buy a DVD player. Yes, I was using the old VCR until I could no longer go to the local Blockbuster and rent a VHS. They don't even keep them anymore.
After selecting a player, we browsed the DVDs for a possible buy. We pointed out the all time worst and best movies, those we had and had not seen. I mentioned Fight Club being one of my favorites.
The next day he showed up at my place with a present. Fight Club. My first DVD ever.
I need say no more.

Ohhhhhh, a man who encourages a Brad Pitt fetish....I think I love this man. Oh yes, I think I do! And an excellent choice of Pitt movies if I do say so myself.
And the weird thing is, its not so much about Brad. Its just an awesome film.
Okay, so what if I could wash my landry on his washboard abs?
It's not about Brad? Ok then Edward...I should have known you would be more of an Edward gal. He is a hottie in his own wierd, complex sort of way. But yeah, I get ya...I dig the movie itself cause it's just wierd. That's why I like 12 monkeys. Hummmmmm...another Brad movie. I'm not saying there is a connection. I'm just pointing out the obvious.
I LOVE 12 Monkeys too. For some reason, I'm drawn to movies that involve characters with mental problems: Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Girl Interrupted.
I'm not sure what this means...
