Dah Dah Dah Dah

Four more days. Till he kisses the bride. Till we dance our first dances as husband and wife. Till we run out to our limo afterwards, giddy with excitement to start out new life together.

Five more days. Till the honeymoon. Till we can reconnect.

What? Yeah, I said it. Reconnect. The week before the honeymoon and we're both running here and there after a full day of work. Tanning, programs, wine pick up, etc. We were supposed to cook fish together last night, to make an effort to see each other. Instead, I swooped by good old Mickie D's for a salad and mcnuggets so we could scarf them down together before I ran out again.

Saturday was my bachelorette deal and Sunday was his. It feels like we haven't seen each other in days.

I actually got a little teary eyed thinking about it this morning. We get married in a week and I feel so distant from him. We're always so connected and I guess I take that for granted.

So, to my surprise, Babers called me today to tell me he was rained out at work and asked me on a lunch date. I'm smiling from ear to ear. We so need this.

And that 7 day honeymoon coming up too....

I still cannot believe I am marrying my best friend this weekend. My source of sanity, my comforter, my love. He is home to me. And I get to spend the rest of my life with him. Amazing.

This may be my last post until after the honeymoon. If so, I wish everyone a beautiful holiday with lots of hot chocolate, non-regifted presents (ha!) and quality time with the ones you love.

Merry Christmas!

I'm so excited for you two. The rest is yet to come... and because I'm a step ahead of you guys- just know that it is more than you can simply imagine. Enjoy the day, savor the moment, and prepare yourself to put your best into something bigger than you could ever be by yourself. Congrats, love, and *cheers.*

This is just the beginning of a new adventure for you! I don't even know you and I am so happy for you that I could cry ! Soon all those stressful days of dealing with everything, making sure everything is done, dealing with people trying to tell you what to do...soon...it will be a distant memory, and your new life as a wife begins! I wish you all the best for a wonderful and blessed wedding day. Congrats my friend!
