Random Thoughts

I love Saturday mornings when J is home with me. Usually I wake first and I feel this very real calmness. I'm aware of so much: his breathing, the color of the light peeking through my blinds, the contrast of his warm limbs snuggled up against me and the freezing temperature in the apartment. I'm so aware of everything and its the only time I can really take it all in with out the hub bub of every day life. And I'm so in love with him in the mornings. Probably because he's asleep.

I'm kidding.

Running is so much easier with a really good pair of thick, squishy socks. I just purchased a pair of thick-soled ankle socks and I swear, I can run the track much longer than usual. Its not my breathing or being tired that makes me stop. Its those pesky thin socks that rub the balls of my feet raw. Invest in squishy socks.

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and really, really had to pee but you're just too sleepy to get up? So you go back to sleep and then in the morning you have to pee so bad that it hurts and you have to hobble leaning over at the waist to the bathroom just so you won't lose it?

Sorry if that was unlady like. Just wondered if I was the only one.

I'm a little torn about solicitors. At work, I hear my boss and co-worker say "I'm not interested," and BAM hang up the phone. If you catch me on a bad day, I'll probably do the same. However, I realize these people are just doing their job. True, they could pick a better job but lately I find myself saying "We already have service, but thank you for calling." Maybe my one decent response in the midst of hundreds of hang ups will give them a break. But just don't be calling my house phone yo. I'll get stupid with ya.

Have a great weekend my lovies!

I love those moments when you are aware of every sense and it gives all kinds of inspiration. speaking of which... any great pics to share with us?

OMG! I had to pee that bad the last three days! I have increased my water intake, and I just find myself in pain in the morning, yet not wanting to get out of bed... haha

My sister was a solicitor. She was a highly depressed individual while working there. I think it is an unwise career choice. Lots of negative energy!

When I'm asleep and needing to potty, I'll actually dream about going to the restroom and dream I'm not able to pee, but the yelling bladder eventually wakes me up and I have to go.

Your state of mind when Babers is with you is reminiscent of many mystery schools who advocate love (and sex) as a method for reaching a higher state of consciousness. When you reach a higher state your awareness levels increase and you start to notice details about common things as if they were there for the first time. The next time you're in this state think of creating a piece of Jillry and you'll probably be surprised to find out what you come up with.

I try to be nice to solicitors too, but if they get pushy, I get nasty. I can't help it.

I wonder if marriage and 20 years will make you as bitter and jaded as I am? LOL! I'm kidding, I love that you find the magic in the mornings. When he's asleep! Lol!

I think of a "solicitor" as a lawyer. I'm probably missing something here... :)

I love laying in bed. The bed feels softest, I think, in the morning. I turn off the alarm then stay in bed for a 1/2 hour before I go work out. Ahhh. It's the best part of the day.

Have a great weekend.

I debate getting up to pee if I only have an hour or so left to sleep. I wonder if I'll fall back to sleep in time to enjoy it, or whether I should man up and hold it until I must rise.

I don't intend to be crude, but I must tell you there's an added risk if you're a guy: imagine having to take a whiz just as you wrote, and before you do, you have to coax down a morning boner.

Longest 90 seconds of your life, missy.

Ohh I HATE those thin socks. Not that I run anywhere...

I don't give a damn about the feelings of phone salespeople, and I even used to be one. I'm getting callous in my old age. Oh wait. I was before.

And isn't it just wonderful when you get to empty your poor aching bladder?

Or is it just me? *blush*

you really are a sweetheart Jill. I have NO tolerance for telemarketers. NONE. I used to be nice to them till I'd get several phone calls in a week from the same solicitors after telliing them no already. Then I just lost it, now I'm not even nice to start with..don't want to give them a reason to call back I guess. I wish I was more like you.

what a sweet post...the beginning part, that is. i remembered what it's like to wake up early and gaze at someone you love in such a peaceful state.
and no, you're not alone. i'll do anything to stay asleep, including waking up in severe bladder pain.

I've been there on the pee thing, waking up in pain is definitely worth it though given I'm a lazy bum.

As for the solicitors, when they ask if the man of the house is in; I just say I'm gay. That usually does the trick.

Cheers
