The Other K Wick has introduced Operation Skinny Bitch by way of her blog. I admit, I was intrigued and clicked the OSB link.
Tons of women joining together to shed the pounds. What a simple but awesome idea. A bloggy support group for chics that want to drop a few lbs? Right up my alley yo.
So, I've joined them.
Why am I so terrified??
Because they POST THEIR WEIGHT EVERY WEEK on their blogs. Are they effing crazy? I'm not doing that.
Yes I am. Its my punishment.
You can see the battle I'm already having in my head over this. I want more than anything to lose about 10 ish pounds, but mostly I just need to tone tone tone! I've always been pretty content about my curvy bod but since high school, a few pounds have creeped up and my previous love of running is no longer existent.
Long time readers know about my struggle for consistent healthy eating and exercise. But hey, I'm a southern girl: I love my fried buffalo wings, my mayo and cajun pasta dishes. Its in my blood people.
But this OSB? This is hopefully going to give me the motivation I need with my short term goal: Get fit for the cruise in March. Yep, gotta get bikini ready people. You remember the lovely B&W Polka, don't you?

I'm still wrestling with the idea of publishing my weight. My wife and I joined weight watchers and if you look at the weight chart, the height corresponding to my weight would put me in Guiness.
Oh boy...you're a brave one! I'm still struggling with 8 lbs since having my son 5 months ago...I should join, maybe the pressure to post my weight will get my ass in gear! I have til March 28th to get to my weight goal, have to out skinny the bride at her wedding..is that wrong? :)
thanks for stopping by...i was afraid to post my weight too, i just followed osb for a couple of weeks before i could actually post anything but i tell ya since i started being accountable for my weight gain or loss it has kept me in the gym 5 to 6 days a week getting in 5 miles a day.... GOOD LUCK btw love the bikini :)
oh my gosh, i just started walking this week as a beginning to my long term goal of losing weight (a lot more weight than you) and getting healthy. i will check out the blog and maybe join as well. i certainly need the motivation. thanks for the info. san

I need to lose ten pounds too. Well, need, want, whatever. I'm not ashamed to post my weight, what I'd be more ashamed to post is what I eat. LOL!! I mean, chocolate chips right out of the bag chased by pickles. C'mon.

Girl, you CAN do this. The weight is nothing but a number. Bring on the Cajun pasta (I love it too); just in smaller portions. ;-) Don’t be nervous. Just think how absolutely fabulous you will look of that cruise.
Love the bikini! I have luggage that matches perfectly. LOL.
Up until last month, Albert had no clue how much I weighed. hahah
